Dennis Millenberg, CEO of Boeing, issued a video statement on June 6, acknowledging that the two recent Boeing 737MAX8 crashes were "our responsibility" and that the aircraft‘s automatic stall-proof maneuverability enhancement system had problems and would complete software updates in the coming weeks. Boeing announced that it would cut production of 737 MAX series airliners by 10 a month. Two Boeing 737 MAX 8 crashes on Lion Airlines and Aeronautical Airlines killed 346 people. Prior to this, the Ethiopian Ministry of Transport issued an investigation report on the crash of Aeronautical Airlines, which showed that the crew repeatedly operated correctly according to the operating procedures, but still could not control the aircraft.
